Job summary

ALCOVA Mortgage is seeking a skilled Loan Originator / Officer to originate residential and government mortgages in the Bowling Green area, KY. You will educate borrowers and assess eligibility while guiding them through the loan process.

This full-time role emphasizes building referral partnerships, managing a sales pipeline, and collaborating with processing and closing teams to ensure timely closings. A strong customer service attitude and licensing with NMLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in mortgage; two years preferred.
• Must be licensed as Loan Officer and hold NMLS registration under the Safe Act of 2008.
• Strong pipeline management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build relationships with referral partners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use marketing and sales practices to generate new business with clients and referral partners.
• Maintain a database of past clients and referral partners.
• Manage pipeline and follow-up communications.
• Present face-to-face sales presentations to individuals and groups.
• Coordinate with processing and closing teams to ensure timely closings.
• Educate borrowers on loan products and review applications for accuracy.
