Qualifications

• Experience in organized basketball at club, select, modified, junior varsity, varsity or college level preferred.
• Effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Knowledge of basketball rules, regulations, strategies and techniques.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics and district policies.
• Supervise equipment, uniforms, and inventory; prepare schedules and rosters.
• Coordinate with Athletics Director and Building Principal; communicate with teams and parents.
• Attend meetings, organize tryouts and explain code of conduct and selection procedures.
• Submit end-of-season reports and ensure compliance with NYSPHSAA, district regulations.
