Responsibilities

• Facilitate teachers' lesson plans with fidelity in the event of a teacher absence.
• Ensure safety, well-being, and learning of all students.
• Provide high-quality classroom coverage across all subjects and grades with fidelity.
• Collaborate with content and grade teams to understand routines and expectations.
• Use schoolwide systems (Exit Tickets, Do Nows, data trackers) where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with scholars, families, and staff.
• Commit to school-wide systems, structures, and procedures.
• Promote equity, addressing racism and poverty in the learning environment.
• Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom atmosphere for diverse learners.
• Participate in school community responsibilities (lunch duty, dismissal, homeroom, advisory, meetings, PD, etc.).
• Attend community events and serve as an additional adult presence.
• Engage in coaching cycles to strengthen classroom management and culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of school norms and culture.
