Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field.
• Valid state teaching certification in Spanish or secondary education.
• Proficiency in Spanish with strong verbal and written communication.
• Previous experience teaching Spanish at the middle school level preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and language learning resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Spanish curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
• Provide instruction in Spanish listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods and cultural immersion experiences to engage students.
• Assess student performance with tests, quizzes, assignments, projects, and oral presentations.
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback and support to address needs.
• Collaborate with special education and other teachers to support diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and achievements.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
