Job summary

Horry County Schools North Myrtle Beach Middle - Little River, South Carolina is seeking a Middle Level Science Teacher to plan, organize, and implement an instructional program addressing the learning needs of students. The role reports to the Building Principal or a designated School Administrator and involves a 190-day term.

The teacher will develop lesson plans, establish objectives, utilize technology, monitor student progress, and maintain records while fostering communication with parents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university.
• Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in Middle Level Science.
• Other professional and personal qualifications as deemed necessary for acceptable fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare classroom for class activities.
• Provide for the care and protection of school property.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and development.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
• Plan and implement the appropriate instructional program to address the learning needs of the students.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Higher
