The ideal candidate will lead with a distributed leadership model, guide curriculum development, and collaborate with families and community partners to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• RI Building Level Administrator PK-12 certification required.
• Three years of successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience in educational leadership.
• Knowledge of the Rhode Island Special Education Referral to Placement Process.
• Knowledge of Multi‑Tier System of Supports (MTSS).
• Knowledge and experience with educator evaluations.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrating technology in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Articulate a vision for a middle school in West Warwick to meet all students’ needs.
• Build and improve school culture, climate, and instructional programs.
• Manage organization, operations and resources for a safe, efficient learning environment.
• Establish instructional goals and achievement objectives for the school.
• Work within district, state and federal policies and regulations.
• Coordinate staff and student activities to develop goals and mission statements.
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluate instructional programs.
• Advocate for technology to enhance instruction and delivery.
