Qualifications

• CO State Certification as a Physical Education Teacher.
• CO State Certification as a Health Teacher preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignments.
• Masters Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers Physical Education and/or Health curricula aligned with district goals.
• Creates a safe learning environment and provides feedback on progress.
• Assesses student growth and adapts instruction for diverse learners.
• Keeps updated on educational developments through professional activities.
• Maintains records of grading and attendance per district procedures and laws.
• Engages parents and communicates effectively with families.
• Ensures student behavior aligns with school and district expectations.
• Collaborates with PE/Health staff and participates in meetings and committees.
• Requests instructional supplies and maintains equipment inventories.
• Inspects gym, field areas and supervise students in multiple spaces.

Education
