Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate content endorsement.
• Out-of-state license transferable to Tennessee within 90 days.
• On track to complete certification steps in Tennessee.
• Belief in IOTA’s mission and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, plan lessons, and maintain a typical school day schedule.
• Instruct middle school math using standards-based approaches and AV aids.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align curricula.
• Develop and submit weekly and long-range lesson plans with assessments.
• Use data to evaluate student progress and communicate with parents.
