Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and technology to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with staff to set goals and instructional methods.
• Establish open communication with parents and administrators.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a conducive learning environment.
• Provide timely assessment of student progress and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Supervise assignments for teacher aides or volunteers.
