Job summary

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS is looking for a Middle School Baseball Coach to lead and develop the school's baseball program. The coach will mentor young student-athletes, ensure their safety during practices and games, and promote sportsmanship and teamwork. Candidates must have experience in baseball, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to student development. This position requires a strong understanding of the game, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students. A background check is required, and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in baseball as a player or coach, preferably at the middle school or youth level.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Current background check clearance per school policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct baseball practices focused on skill development and teamwork.
• Teach age-appropriate baseball fundamentals.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices and games.
• Promote positive team dynamics and school pride.
