Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Teach Middle School Band and elementary general music for grades K–5.
• Establish learning objectives and communicate them clearly to students and parents.
• Use a range of research-based instructional and assessment strategies to ensure quality learning.
• Assess student learning using diverse evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration to align instructional programs with district priorities.
