You are a stellar attorney with 4–6 full years’ experience, a California license to practice, and a proactive, detail-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate or employment law.
• Licensed to practice law in California (New York license a plus).
• Conscientious, thorough and you take the accuracy of your work seriously.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of the Corporate or Employment Department.
• Work from our Los Angeles or San Francisco office.
• Handle multiple projects with learning opportunities.
• Offer innovative solutions using your expertise-based problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy in work.
• Advise employers on day-to-day workplace issues and deliver practical, plain English advice.
• Draft, review, and revise demand letters, complaints, and motion papers in employment-related disputes.
• Assist with all substantive aspects of employment disputes, including agency submissions, drafting discovery requests and responses and preparing for depositions.
• Draft and update contracts, handbooks and other employment-related agreements and help clients implement compliant workplace practices.
• Lead by example with work ethic and drive for success.
• Be involved in client development, marketing and growth of the firm.
