Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Current, active BLS.
• 2+ years of Phlebotomy experience.
• 1+ years of clinic experience.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook.
• Administrative Skills: Demonstrated ability to relay information to patients in-person and via phone.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient assessment data including height, weight, vital signs, chief complaint, and current medications.
• Prepares the patient for provider evaluation and assists during exams and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and restocks supplies as needed.
• Assists with lab procedures and labeling of specimens.
• Documents patient information in the medical record and manages prescriptions and referrals.
• Manages flow of patient care and schedules injections and infusions.
• Orders supplies and medications and tracks inventory.
• Performs diagnostic testing procedures.
