Job summary

MasteryPrep LLC is seeking tutors to deliver live math and reading test-prep instruction to middle and high school students at multiple campuses in Minneapolis. This contract/temporary role welcomes teachers, tutors, coaches, or individuals passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed.

The tutor will engage students with an energetic teaching style, create a positive learning environment, and travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work onsite and maintain reliable attendance.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally for weekday in-person events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live instruction to middle and high school students.
• Engage students with an energetic, clear, and encouraging teaching style.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Support student growth in math and reading skills.
• Maintain reliable attendance and professionalism during scheduled sessions.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and school partners as needed.
