Job summary

Lebermuth Co Inc is seeking a Material Handler to move and inspect materials, ensuring on‑time, complete, and error‑free orders. You will load/unload, stage materials for production, and verify labels while maintaining accurate lot codes and inventory accuracy.

The role requires forklift certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow GMP and safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime may be necessary to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year related experience or training.
• Certifications: Forklift certification; Haz Mat training within 90 days of employment.
• Functional skills: basic math, reading shop tickets, SOPs and SDS.
• Technology: basic computer and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and containers before moving to ensure cleanliness.
• Verify deliveries and load/unload materials efficiently.
• Retrieve ingredients with bar code scanning per system.
• Deliver and stage materials for production and WIP.
• Verify labels and repack as needed for production.
• Maintain accurate product IDs and lot codes for inventory.
• Support inventory counts and ensure on-hand materials for orders.
• Assist with organizing and locating misclassified inventory.
• Secure loaded materials for transport with straps and padding.
• Follow GMP and safety standards; operate forklifts and hand trucks.
