Job summary

D.W. Distribution is seeking a Material Handler to join our VALUES-based organization. This position will be based out of our Lancaster facility and will support the Pre-hanging/Pre-finishing operation, including material receiving, movement, shipping and production support.

You will manually pick and stage items, use a handheld scanner, operate a forklift and order picker, and help maintain safety and quality standards on the dock and in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• One year or more of forklift operator experience; cherry picker experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand English; basic math skills for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick and stage warehouse items at loading docks.
• Operate handheld scanner to locate items and move them to dock doors.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or RTV area.
• Operate forklift and order picker as required.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping on loading docks and warehouse aisles.
• Inspect items pulled/loaded to ensure quality.
