Job summary

Education Unlimited is seeking energetic and experienced science instructors for our Marine Science Camp, a hands-on, multi-disciplinary summer program for students in grades 4-12. Instructors may be hired for one or more sessions, with residential, online, and commuter options.

You will teach the Marine Science curriculum, supervise campers, lead labs, and help with field trips, assessments, and safety. A science background and strong classroom management are essential; Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference for advanced degree.
• 2+ years’ experience in science teaching or significant subject knowledge.
• Experience with middle, high school or college-age students.
• Passion for science education.
• A calm and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivation and follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Education Unlimited curriculum and supervise campers.
• Lead classroom labs and hands-on activities.
• Assist with field trips and excursions as needed.
• Ensure health and safety of students and manage classroom behavior.
• Support program administration and deliverables to camp director.
