About the Role

We're seeking a passionate Environmental Educator to lead our day camps at Marina Beach Park. You'll connect students with the natural world through engaging lessons on marine science, history, environmental stewardship, and ecology. Our curriculum emphasizes hands‑on learning, play, and artistic expression.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver daily environmental education curriculum (10:00 AM-12:00 PM & 12:30 PM-1:45 PM).
  • Set up and take down camp materials (tent, tables, chairs, teaching supplies).
  • Ensure safe student sign‑in/out procedures.
  • Provide brief student summaries to parents (Friday, asynchronous, 2 hours).
Logistics
  • Dates: Week-long position with opportunities for additional weeks (up to 7 weeks)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Compensation: $30.33-$35.00/hour
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of teaching experience.
  • 1+ year of environmental education experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (teaching degree/Master's preferred).
