Job summary

Excelsior Orthopaedics, LLP is seeking a skilled LPN to join a clinical operations team. You will support providers, manage patient flow, and perform cast/wound-care duties in a high-volume orthopaedic setting.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, and updating the EMR (MEDENT preferred). The role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and adherence to regulatory standards. Training and ongoing duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN License or ATC BOC certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume medical office with rooming patients is preferred.
• Experience in wound care and casting is highly preferred.
• EMR knowledge is required; MEDENT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth patient flow in the operational areas.
• Perform clinical duties in all areas including Express, Cast Room, and pods.
• Perform cast application/removal, sutures, staples, braces; wound care; patient education.
• Triage and respond per SOPs; room patients, take vitals/history, update EMR.
• Audit new patient charts and maintain patient records; process after-visit paperwork and follow-ups.
• Replenish exam rooms and clinical supplies; train others as needed; perform other duties as directed.
