Job summary

The Logistics Coordinator role focuses on coordinating receipt and storage of assets from domestic and international vendors, updating inventory tools, and ensuring last-mile delivery to customers or labs. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration across teams to meet delivery deadlines.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, PO creation, forklift operation, and familiarity with hazardous materials handling. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of warehouse experience.
• Freight forwarder experience required.
• Hazmat certifications required.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Shipping knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Receive and support customer’s requests for logistics support via ticketing system.
• Warehouse responsibilities include freight receipt, inventory discovery and audit, pick-orders, process improvement, packaging, working directly with customers, and coordinating support across various internal and external teams.
• Operate a forklift and courier van.
• Create process documentation, provide team training and track/document maintenance schedules according to OSHA standard.
• Track and report on number of pallets in/out of warehouse.
• Place POs for freight and customs; coordinate interfaces between procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
