Job summary

RAS LaVrar, a growing creditors’ rights law firm, seeks a Hearing Coordinator in Plantation, FL. You will manage the court calendar, coordinate hearings, and secure appropriate coverage with external counsel to maintain smooth litigation operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with legal calendaring, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software. This onsite position offers growth within a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college in legal studies is a plus.
• 1–2 years admin/clerical experience, preferably in a law firm or high-volume corporate setting.
• Experience with legal calendaring or document management systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and set hearings by navigating court portals to ensure dates are on the master calendar.
• Identify coverage needs and arrange external attorney coverage for hearings.
• Maintain internal attorney calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts or double bookings.
• Process hearing-related mail, identify notices and pleadings for action, and update case systems.
