Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Talk Show Host to lead daily on-air segments, conduct in-studio interviews, and participate in on-location shoots.

You will support the Executive Producer with segment writing, prep, and guest coordination, while helping promote the show through events and social media. The role requires proven hosting experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple production timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a host or on-air personality.
• Video introduction is required.
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
• Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment.
• Must be highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hosting a program and conducting in-studio interview segments.
• Providing daily on-camera contributions to a daily television show.
• Assisting Executive Producer with writing show segments.
• Interviewing show guests in studio and on location.
• Collecting information/videos/photos at remote locations for post-production.
• Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
• Researching show topics and developing questions with Executive Producer.
• Attending daily show meetings.
• Assisting sales on presentations including client meetings.
• Participating in events to promote the show.
• Maintaining a show social media account and assisting with online content as directed by the Executive Producer.
