Qualifications

• Proven experience as a host or on-air personality.

• Ability to ad lib when required.
• Work independently and with direction from the department manager.
• Basic understanding of video editing systems.
• Solid understanding of TV studio production in live and recorded formats.
• Ability to adapt content quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on camera contributions to a three-hour Lifestyle show.
• Interview guests in studio and on location in a non-scripted, fun show environment.
• Research show topics and develop questions for guests.
• Coordinate with sales on sponsored content in-studio or on-location.
• Assist Producers with booking non-paid guests.
• Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors.
• Post daily show segments to the station’s website.
• Keep the show’s social media accounts updated and fresh.
• Participate in events to promote the show.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to the station’s streaming programming.
