Nexstar Media Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Host to lead a three-hour weekday show. You will conduct in-studio and on-location interviews, research topics, and coordinate with sales on sponsored content. The role requires an energetic, team-oriented personality and strong communication skills.

The position involves early mornings, collaboration with producers, and participation in events to promote the show. Proficiency in video editing basics and studio workflows is preferred.

Primary Duties

The Lifestyle Host is responsible for hosting a three-hour weekday program, conducting in-studio interviews, booking guests, and taking part in on location segments as scheduled. This position requires an early-morning schedule to prepare for each day's show. The Lifestyle Host frequently works with members of the sales team, as well as a wide range of people outside the station.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide daily on camera contributions to a three-hour Lifestyle show
• Interview guests/clients both in studio and on location in a non-scripted, fun, lifestyle show environment
• Research show topics and developing questions for guests
• Knowledge of current events, popular culture, and compelling subjects
• Work alongside sales representatives regarding sponsored content whether in-studio or on-location.
• Assisting the Producers with booking non-paid guests
• Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors
• Assist in posting daily show segments to the station’s website
• Assist with keeping the show’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok) updated and fresh
• Participating in events, either station sponsored or others, to promote the show
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
• Contributing to the station’s streaming programming
