Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is seeking a full-time paralegal to support the labor department in our Syracuse office. The ideal candidate will multi-task, prioritize, and organize projects with strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent computer, research, and technical abilities.

Responsibilities include assisting in employment litigation, filing pleadings electronically, preparing discovery, document management, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and electronic filing systems for federal and state courts.
• Ability to redraft and redact electronic documents (PDF, PPT, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail required.
• Familiarity with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and New York CPLR.

Responsabilités

• Assist in all aspects of employment litigation.
• Review and file pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents electronically.
• Prepare discovery documents, notices of deposition, subpoenas, and document production.
• Manage case documents and conduct research.
• Coordinate with clients and opposing counsel on scheduling and logistics for depositions.
• Assist in trial preparation, including exhibits and trial books.
• Review and cite-check legal memoranda and monitor court dockets.
