Job summary

KidStrong South Denver is seeking a part-time Coach to lead high-energy, 45-minute classes for kids from crawling to 11 years old. You will deliver the curriculum, demonstrate movements, and ensure safety while fostering growth in brain, body, and character.

The role requires outstanding energy, a love for kids, and strong communication with parents. Availability during evenings and weekends is expected, and CPR/AED certification is preferred or obtainable before start.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine passion for working with kids
• Energetic presence and ability to hold a room of kids and parents
• Positive, motivating communication style with kids and caregivers
• Minimum 12 hours/week availability, including evenings and weekends
• CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain before first class)
• Physically active and able to move equipment up to 50 lbs per shift

Responsibilities

• Deliver KidStrong's curriculum to kids ages crawling–11 in engaging, high-energy 45-minute classes (up to 24 hours/week)
• Develop Brain, Physical, and Character in every session — not just athletic skills
• Physically demonstrate movements, support proper technique, and keep every kid safe and progressing
• Build authentic relationships by counting with and mentoring kids and families before, during, and after class
• Guide parents through the flow of class — they're part of the experience too
• Understand and communicate the why behind our curriculum clearly and confidently
