Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
• Must meet North Central requirements in respective subject.
• Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum qualifications and state certification requirements will be accepted.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Observes and monitors student behavior in classroom, playground, field trips, lunchroom, buses and other areas.
• Establishes a classroom atmosphere that ensures safety and promotes mutual respect and responsibility.
• Plans, develops and evaluates daily lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Modifies instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Informs parents of student progress and instructional methods.
