Job summary

Colibri Group, through its Gold Coast campuses in Florida, seeks experienced Life/Health & Variable and Property & Casualty instructors to deliver pre-licensing and continuing education. Sessions may be held day, evening, or weekend, across multiple Florida locations, with emphasis on engaging, dynamic instruction for adult learners.

We value instructors with extensive insurance knowledge, able to explain complex topics clearly and interactively.

Qualifications

Meet and maintain Florida DFS instructor requirements.
At least five years of significant insurance industry experience.
Extensive knowledge of Florida insurance laws and industry practices.
Audition required from Florida DFS pre-licensing material.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction for Florida Pre-Licensing Life, Health, and Annuity Courses (2-15) and/or General Lines (2-20).
Teach, present lectures, and conduct discussions with visual aids.
Prepare reports and maintain student records in compliance with state laws and school policies.
Observe and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback.
Administer tests to measure progress and training effectiveness.
Enforce school policies and state regulations.
Promote Gold Coast programs and products to students.
