Jobot is seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced firm in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will focus on insurance defense litigation, handling matters from inception to resolution within a collaborative team.

A JD, Texas bar admission, and at least 2 years of insurance defense experience are required, along with strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases independently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in all stages of insurance defense litigation, from inception to resolution.
• Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Engaging in discovery, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions.
• Developing case strategies based on evidence and precedent.
• Managing relationships with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff.
• Preparing for and participating in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlements.
• Advising clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities.
• Staying abreast of trends in insurance defense litigation.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality client service.
