Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants for insurance claims. You will document observations and report findings, working with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.

A private investigator’s license and a valid driver’s license are required before applying. Responsibilities include independent investigations across workers’ comp, general liability, and property/casualty, using various surveillance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post offer, complete Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation.
• Minimum of one year verifiable work experience, preferably investigations or protective service fields.
• Must be able to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Able to type reports in Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras, and cell phones.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations and relevant information clearly.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
