Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Incident Response engineer to manage security incident response processes, investigate threats, and implement corrective actions to contain and remediate incidents. You will analyze security alerts, perform initial triage, determine the scope and impact of incidents, and coordinate responses with other teams.

The role requires 4 years of experience in cyber security and a Bachelor’s degree or DoD 8140 Certification.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in cyber, security incident response, digital forensics, or cyber investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and perform digital forensics and malware analysis.
• Preserve digital evidence and manage incident response and spillage processes.
• Develop, maintain and improve incident response playbooks; participate in threat hunting and post-incident reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Information Technology or Software Engineering
