Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a mission-oriented DOD Security Operations Engineer to support Joint Staff, CNMF, and CMTs in planning, development, execution and analysis of full spectrum cyber operations.

You will monitor logs and network traffic, use SIEM/IDS/IPS, and coordinate incident response while staying current on threat intelligence and security best practices. Must hold TS/SCI clearance and IAM Level III certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years managing a Security Operations Center.
• Expertise with GovCloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge, incident handling, and risk management.
• DOD 8140/8570 IAM Level III Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze system logs, network traffic, and user behavior to identify threats.
• Utilize SOC tools (SIEM/IDS/IPS) to detect, investigate, and respond to incidents.
• Coordinate with incident response teams to contain, mitigate, and remediate incidents.
• Maintain up-to-date threat intelligence and best practices for defense.
• Document incidents and resolutions, contributing to security policy improvements.
• Develop and refine enterprise-level security policies and procedures.
