Sanabria & Associates, PLLC is seeking an Immigration Attorney for its Virginia offices. The candidate should have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, be licensed to practice in Virginia, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Immigration experience is preferred, with family-based and humanitarian relief knowledge a plus. The role requires handling a fast-paced, high-volume caseload, supervising paralegals, meeting deadlines, and delivering strategic advocacy for clients in

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School is required.
• Active VA Bar in Good Standing and authorized to work in the US.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Immigration experience (1 year or more) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients and evaluate eligibility for immigration relief and benefits.
• Develop and implement case strategies tailored to each client's immigration goals and circumstances.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while overseeing paralegals, support staff, case workflows, and critical deadlines.
• Draft, review, and revise immigration applications, petitions, motions, briefs, memoranda, and supporting legal documents.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy for immigration courts and government agencies.
• Monitor developments in immigration law, regulations, agency guidance, and relevant case precedents.
• Represent clients in interviews, hearings, individual merits hearings, and other immigration court proceedings.
• Cultivate client relationships and support community outreach, networking, and business development initiatives.
