Job summary
KUSI in San Diego is seeking a Content Creator & Video Producer/Editor for Prep Pigskin Report. This temporary/full-time role runs from the start of the high school football season through the Silver Pigskin Gala, August through December, and requires hands-on shooting, editing, and publication across digital and social platforms.
You will craft engaging football stories, montages, and interviews, coordinate with sports staff, meet tight deadlines on Friday nights, and bring strong writing,
Qualifications
- Experience developing and publishing content on digital and social platforms.
- Experience in shooting/editing video content.
- Interest in digital publishing and storytelling for sports.
- Excellent writing and storytelling with strong football judgement.
- Knowledge of social media, football, pop culture and current events.
- Experience editing unscripted web content, montages, interviews and games.
- Strong copy editing, attention to detail and deadline discipline.
- Effective communication under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish content for digital and social platforms.
- Shoot and edit video packages for Prep Pigskin Report.
- Create montages, interviews and game coverage footage.
- Write and edit compelling football stories with accuracy.
