• Experience developing and publishing content on digital and social platforms.
• Ability to create high-quality graphics using top-flight software.
• Familiar with live media tech (gimbals, phones, microphones).
• Proficient with Wordpress-based webpages.
• Excellent writing and storytelling with sports journalism judgement.
• Strong knowledge of social media, football, pop culture, and current events.
• Experience editing unscripted web content, montages, and interviews.
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Excellent copy editing and communication skills.
• Must be punctual and eager to learn quickly.

Position: Digital Editor and Designer - Red Jacket

Temporary/Seasonal position from the beginning of the HS Football season to Silver Pigskin Gala (mid-August to December)

A digital designer will support the Red Jacket Content Creators that go out and work on Friday nights, as well as curating content throughout the week that lifts up our Nexstar digital teams and social media efforts.

• Understanding how to work new media tech like gimbels, phones, microphones
• Knows how to use OBS for live streaming, shows, and recordings.
• Can be a real-time admin for live and curated content.
• Experience using webpage construction through sites like Wordpress.
• Excellent writer and Storyteller with superior ''high school football news'' judgement.
• Knowledge of social media, football, pop culture, and current events.
• Experience editing unscripted web content, montages, comedic clips, interviews, and football games.
