Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown Roanoke is seeking a proactive, energetic Sales Coordinator to support the property’s sales team. You will greet visitors, handle inquiries, qualify leads, and assist with group bookings, meetings, and event logistics.

The role emphasizes exceptional verbal and written communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with front desk and department heads to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel and sales experience is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate a productive team that embodies PEACH.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and answer calls to support the property sales team.
• Qualify potential customers in person, by email, and by phone.
• Communicate with group customers about room blocks, rooming lists, and reservations changes.
• Assist with RFP responses, proposals, contracts, BEOs, and meeting arrangements.
• Support Director of Sales with reservation requests and group master account creation.
