Seneca High School seeks a dedicated High School Spanish teacher to join its Foreign Language Department in Ottawa, Illinois. The ideal candidate will hold, or be eligible for, an Illinois PEL with a Spanish endorsement and will design lessons that actively engage students in challenging tasks.

Responsibilities include possible athletic or club sponsorship duties, with starting salary set under the district's collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Candidate may hold a valid, registered Illinois professional educator license (PEL) with a content specific endorsement in Foreign Language - Spanish.
• Additional certifications or alternative licensure may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Teach High School Spanish and develop engaging lessons to promote critical thinking and real-world application.
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies to meet diverse learners' needs; foster a lab-like, respectful classroom environment.
• Perform extra duties such as athletic or club sponsorship as required.
