• Experience: at least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district curriculum and show written evidence of prep.
• Create lessons reflecting accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines and policies.
• Plan instructional strategies and use materials and equipment suited to learners’ needs.
• Conduct assessment of student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Supervise and coordinate teacher aides and volunteers.
