Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the district curriculum
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials to fit diverse learning needs
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with education staff to modify curricula for IEPs
• Direct instructional aides and supervise volunteers as needed
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior
• Communicate with parents, students, and colleagues regularly
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees
