Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, OH seeks a long-term substitute Biology teacher for a maternity leave from February 1 to April 30. The instructor will teach one AP Biology section and four college preparatory Biology sections.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and Ohio teaching certification (or be license-eligible) in Integrated Science 7-12, Life Science 7-12, or Physical Science 7-12, with prior classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ohio Teacher Certification or license eligibility required for Integrated Science 7-12, Life Science 7-12, or Physical Science 7-12.
• Experience in classroom teaching and commitment to best practices.

Responsabilités

• Teach Biology courses with engaging lessons and lab experiences aligned to goals.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents via MoeCampus.
• Analyze data to tailor instruction and collaborate with intervention staff.
• Integrate technology to support instruction per ISTE standards.
• Serve as a mentor group teacher in the House System and perform other duties.
