Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must hold a current First Aid Card and a valid CPR certification.
Minimum one year experience as an assistant coach.
Knowledgeable of proper fitness and conditioning techniques and strong knowledge of the sport.

Responsibilities

Fulfill the responsibilities of the teaching assignment as a first priority if a district teacher.
Coach students in the fundamentals and techniques of the sport, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Adhere to CHSAA, NFHS rules, and district policies.
Assist with supervision of athletes and adjunct personnel on the team.
Communicate special needs to the head coach and maintain consistent decisions.
Perform other duties as prescribed by the Head Coach.
Establish and maintain professional communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members.
Attend clinics and conferences to stay updated on current trends in the sport.
