Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum one year experience as an assistant coach.
• Must be knowledgeable of proper fitness and conditioning techniques for athletes.
• Strong knowledge of the sport, preferably with collegiate/professional-level participation.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the teaching assignment as a first priority when applicable.
• Coach students in sport fundamentals, sportsmanship, and team cooperation.
• Adhere to CHSAA, NFHS rules, and district policies.
• Assist with supervision of athletes and adjunct personnel.
• Communicate special needs to the head coach.
• Be fair and consistent in all decisions related to participants.
• Perform other duties as prescribed by the Head Coach.
