Job summary

Adams County School District 14 is seeking an Athletic Head Coach to lead athletic programs across football, basketball, track, and other sports at the secondary level, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The role requires a high school diploma, current First Aid and CPR, and at least one year of experience as an assistant coach, with knowledge of conditioning, safety, and ACHS/USA rules. This is a supplemental, exempt position funded by the district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Card and CPR certification.
• Minimum one year experience as an assistant coach.
• Knowledge of proper fitness and conditioning techniques.
• Strong knowledge of the sport, preferably with collegiate/professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach students in fundamentals and techniques of the sport, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Adhere to Colorado High School Activities Association rules, and district policies.
• Assist with supervision of athletes and adjunct personnel assigned to the team.
• Communicate special needs to the head coach.
• Be fair and consistent in all decisions and judgments related to the sport participants.
• Perform other duties as prescribed by the Head Coach.
