Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to repair, diagnose, overhaul, and recondition heavy equipment and components for customers and the company. The role may require overtime hours and emergency calls as needed, with a focus on safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, maintaining service records, and coordinating with the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and operation.
• Proficient in basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools following manuals.
• Ability to self-manage and communicate effectively with teammates.
• Flexible schedule with overtime or weekend work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Recondition, repair, service, and assemble heavy equipment and components.
• Diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs.
• Maintain records of time, parts, and supplies used.
• Provide instructions and direction to helpers and trainees as required.
• Complete disassembly and inspection to enable timely part ordering and scheduling.
