You will build positive relationships with participants and help ensure high class attendance while maintaining a safe, energetic environment. The role requires 1+ year of fitness instruction, CPR/AED certification, and NASM/ACE/AFAA/AEA group exercise credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of fitness instructor experience.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Must hold at least NASM, ACE, AFAA or AEA group exercise certification.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class and to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills to engage members.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching challenging and entertaining classes.
• Educates participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Listens to members, answers questions, and engages in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space after each class.
• Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while using appropriate language.
• Promotes Life Time promotions, programs, products, and services to encourage participation.
