YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado Springs is seeking Group Exercise Instructors for formats such as Senior Fitness, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Barre and more. You will lead classes with a focus on health and well‑being, create a welcoming community, and ensure safe, well‑organized sessions across age ranges.

The role requires current national group exercise certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/AED/First Aid credentials (provided on employment).

Formación

• Must hold a current nationally recognized group exercise certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and First Aid certifications required or provided upon employment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Group Exercise Classes with excellent service and member retention.
• Create community within the YMCA programs.
• Record and maintain attendance records.
• Set up facility/equipment and prepare exercise plans (warm-up, workout, cooldown).
• Demonstrate modifications for various conditions/injuries and act as first responder when needed.
• Attend in-service meetings and maintain all certifications.
