Job summary

VASA Fitness in Aurora, CO is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy classes such as Pop Pilates, Pilates, Les Mills Shapes, Body Pump and Body Combat. This hourly, non-exempt role pays $21.00-$28.00 per hour DOE and includes a gym membership for staff, plus potential 401k options.

You will deliver engaging workouts, uphold the VUME standards, and maintain a safe, clean class environment. Candidates need relevant certifications, CPR/AED, and prior group fitness experience.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in personal/group fitness or related training.
• NCCA-certified personal training or group fitness certification.
• CPR/AED certification currently valid.
• Certifications for the applicable fitness format (e.g., Zumba, Les Mills).
• Kinesiology or exercise science knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver high-energy, inclusive fitness experiences.
• Uplift members and ensure Vasa Uplift Member Experience (VUME) in every class.
• Be punctual, prepared, and greet members at the door on time.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor member performance.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize post-class to keep a bright, safe environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to member needs promptly.
• Communicate clearly and offer options for diverse fitness levels.
• Inspire community and inclusivity within each class.
