Job summary

O'Steen Acura & O'Steen Volvo Cars of Athens in Athens, Georgia seeks a high-energy General Manager to lead two premium brands. You will oversee operations, culture, and profitability across Sales, F&I, Service, Parts, and administration, driving performance and exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates bring automotive leadership, desk-and-structure expertise, and a proven ability to coach and develop managers while building a positive, high-energy culture on the showroom floor.

Qualifications

• Significant automotive dealership management experience.
• Previous experience as GM/GS M/ Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven success in sales volume, gross profit, CSI, and profitability.
• Strong skills in desking and structuring automotive deals.
• Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain sales professionals and managers.
• Understanding of new/used vehicle operations, F&I, service, parts, inventory, and dealership accounting.
• Familiarity with KPIs and financial statements.
• Premium/luxury or import-brand experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall operations and performance of both Acura and Volvo dealerships.
• Set pace, energy, and culture for the organization.
• Be highly visible on the showroom floor and desk deals.
• Coach managers and sales staff on deal structure, gross profit, closing techniques, and customer experience.
• Review dealership performance and hold leaders accountable for results.
• Develop and execute plans to increase new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
• Drive gross profit while maintaining customer experience.
• Manage inventory, pricing, aging, turn, and used-vehicle profitability.
• Collaborate with F&I to improve PVR and lender relationships.
• Partner with Fixed Operations leadership to maximize service/parts performance.
• Monitor CSI, retention, online reputation, and manufacturer objectives.
• Analyze financial statements and connect daily decisions to profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing managers and employees.
