Job summary

O'Steen Acura & O'Steen Volvo Cars of Athens is seeking a high-energy Automotive General Sales Manager to lead sales operations for two premium brands in Athens, GA. You will desk deals, structure trades, coach teams, and CLOSE BUSINESS while driving showroom performance and customer satisfaction.

Lead daily operations, develop sales managers, manage inventories, and partner with leadership to improve profitability and growth across both dealerships.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive dealership sales management experience.
• Previous experience as a General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated success increasing sales volume, gross profit, and performance.
• Hands-on desk deals, trades, and closing sales experience.
• Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Understanding of new and pre-owned vehicle operations and pricing.
• Experience with internet leads, CRM processes, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily sales operations for both Acura and Volvo dealerships.
• Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales volume, gross profit, and profitability.
• Maintain a strong, visible showroom floor presence and desk deals.
• Coach and develop sales managers and teams to high performance.
• Oversee inventory management, pricing, and profitability strategies.
• Manage F&I integration and improve overall deal profitability.
• Institute sales processes, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.
