Qualifications

• Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability or insurance defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Handle all aspects of discovery
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations to clients.
• Prepare witnesses and assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
